POSITION SUMMARY:

The Call Center Specialist is an elemental part of the NWMLS' ability to provide service and support to members and subscribers. The Call Center serves as an initial and vital point of contact between the NWMLS and our members/subscribers. The main function of those who staff the Call Center is to be positive-minded, accurate, and detailed in customer service. Call Center Specialists are required to be well-versed in all services within the company in order to better serve our customer.

Please note: This is a full-time position with a work schedule that may include working Saturday and/or Sunday. (For example: Work Schedule = Tuesday through Saturday)

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Respond to telephone inquiries providing appropriate and accurate information per established standards, policies and procedures.
  • Document each call and outcome.
  • Research issues and take appropriate action to find resolution.
  • Query and maintain information on various NWMLS databases.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working knowledge of current policies, procedures, systems and services.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Assist Listing Input Department in a variety of functions as needed.
  • Assist Membership Department in a variety of functions as needed.
  • Assist KeyBox Department as needed.
  • Assist Accounting Department as needed.
  • Provide general office support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable communicating with members/subscribers 95% of the workday.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Adept at creating and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Able to problem solve and provide quick and professional responses to variable circumstances.
  • Able to type 40 or more words per minute.
  • Competent using Microsoft Windows and navigating through multiple systems to input and retrieve information.
  • Able to multi-task. (Example: Able to type notes while speaking with a customer on the phone.)
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Able to work autonomously or within a team atmosphere.
  • Comfortable with an evolving knowledge base as product changes and developments occur.
